As a busy mom and full-time professional, I found social escape and connection in the satisfying click and clatter of Mahjong tiles.

As a full-time professional and a busy mom of two little kids, my life is a wonderful whirlwind. Amidst the daily balancing act, I found an unexpected passion that became my favorite past-time: American Mahjong.

For me, Mahjong is more than just a game; it's a vibrant social outlet that connects me with friends, old and new. I absolutely love sharing this game with others, watching them learn the patterns, discover the strategy, and fall in love with the game just as I did. It’s an incredible feeling to help someone find their own moment of fun and connection.

I teach per the National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) rules and always let you know if I introduce a table rule (just for fun). While there is no NMJL-sponsored certification, I am a member of the Mahj Life Instructor Guild, committed to continuing my own education on the game, teaching methods, and ensuring students walk away well versed in the game.
